A desktop cockpit for coding agents.
Kommit Code is a native macOS app for running coding agents on your own repos. Plan the work, watch every turn, review every diff, and roll back anything. Claude and Codex, side by side, on your machine.
This is not the workflow platform.
Kommit is our workflow automation platform for small teams. Kommit Code is a different product for a different job: developers driving coding agents against real codebases. If you came here to automate lead follow-up or invoices, you want Kommit instead.
Agent output you can actually trust.
Coding agents are fast and careless. The app exists to keep you in the loop at the moments that matter: before the plan runs, before the diff lands, and after something goes sideways.
Plan first, then execute
Agents propose a plan you can read and edit before a single file changes. No surprise rewrites of code you didn't ask about.
Rewind any turn
Every agent turn gets a checkpoint. Diff it, revert it, or let it get cleaned up later. A bad turn costs you a click, not an afternoon.
Review it like a PR
Read every change as a diff before it lands, the same way you'd review a colleague's branch. Approve it, edit it, or throw it away.
Git built in
Branches, commits, and pushes from inside the app, with streaming output. Worktree-aware, so parallel agents don't trample each other.
A real terminal
An interactive terminal plus a project script runner that keeps receipts: what ran, when it ran, and what it printed.
See what changed
A preview panel renders your app next to the conversation, so you check the agent's work without leaving the window.
Hand a run to the cloud
Snapshot a workspace, run it remotely, and review the write-back with conflict handling before anything touches your checkout.
Follow from anywhere
A hosted follow view with push notifications, so a long run doesn't chain you to your desk while it grinds.
Bring the agent you already use.
Kommit Code drives Claude and Codex today, plus OpenRouter models behind them. Provider CLIs run locally with your own accounts.
Where it stands, plainly.
- macOS only, for nowKommit Code is a native macOS app. Other platforms aren't announced, and we won't pretend otherwise until there's a date we can stand behind.
- No public download yetBuilds are currently unsigned because code signing is blocked upstream, and we won't ask you to right-click your way past Gatekeeper. When signed builds ship, this page gets a download button. Not before.
- In daily useWe build Kommit and Kommit Code with Kommit Code every day. Everything listed above is shipped and used, not a roadmap slide.
